What does ERSM mean?
ERSM stands for Ecological Restoration & Stormwater Management.
Our name reflects the work we're passionate about and the services we provide every day. From erosion control and stormwater management to site stabilization and ecological restoration, our mission is to help protect our environment while delivering dependable solutions for our clients.
When we started the company, we wanted a name that represented who we are and what we do. ERSM was a natural fit—it reflects our expertise, our commitment to quality, and the brand we've built around protecting land, water, and construction projects throughout Oregon and Washington.
Are you a contractor?
Yes.
ERSM is a licensed contractor specializing in erosion control, stormwater management, and ecological restoration services throughout Oregon and Washington.
In addition to construction services, we also provide professional environmental consulting and compliance services, including:
• SWPPP inspections and compliance monitoring
• Stormwater monitoring and reporting
• Natural resource permitting
• Wetland delineations
• Habitat assessments and reports
• Wildlife and animal surveys
• Stormwater Manual preparation and updates
• Environmental compliance support for public and private projects
Our combination of field construction experience and environmental consulting allows us to support projects from planning and permitting through construction and long-term compliance.
What services does ERSM provide?
ERSM specializes in erosion control installation and maintenance, stormwater management, SWPPP inspections and compliance, BMP installation and maintenance, hydroseeding for erosion control, site stabilization, sediment and erosion control, inlet protection, silt fence installation, straw wattles, construction site compliance, and environmental consulting and permitting.
Do you service homeowners?
Not at this time.
ERSM specializes in commercial, industrial, municipal, and construction projects. This allows us to provide the equipment, staffing, and scheduling necessary for larger-scale erosion control and stormwater management work.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly provide services throughout all of Oregon and Washington, including Southern Oregon and Eastern Washington.
How soon can you start?
Depending on our schedule and the scope of your project, we can sometimes mobilize quickly. However, we generally recommend scheduling projects in advance.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. We provide free estimates for qualifying commercial, industrial, municipal, and construction projects.
Do you hydroseed?
Yes. We provide hydroseeding for erosion control, stormwater compliance, site stabilization, construction projects, and revegetation efforts. We do not hydroseed residential lawns or decorative landscaping.
Can you add additional stormwater maintenance to our contract?
Yes. We can often add routine stormwater maintenance to an existing contract without additional administrative fees. Major repairs, vacuum truck services, sediment removal, emergency response, and other specialty services are quoted separately.
Do you provide emergency stormwater services?
Yes. Emergency response is available based on crew availability for storm events, BMP failures, erosion issues, and other urgent stormwater concerns.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. ERSM is fully licensed and insured. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
Who do you work with?
We work with general contractors, developers, municipalities, utility contractors, industrial facilities, property managers, commercial property owners, and government agencies.
Can you work on public works and prevailing wage projects?
Yes. ERSM has experience with public works and prevailing wage projects and understands government contract compliance requirements.
